Full Job Description

Are you friendly, reliable, and passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Receptionist to join our dedicated team at our busy and well-loved Budget Motel Midland. The rotating roster will include shifts based on company needs, between 9am to 5pm. If you thrive in a dynamic setting, enjoy multitasking, and are committed to delivering top-notch guest experiences, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check-in guests in a professional and friendly manner
Answer phone calls and emails promptly, always with a positive attitude
Assist with reservations, manage booking systems, and ensure smooth guest arrivals
Provide local information, recommendations, and helpful services to guests
Handle guest requests efficiently and resolve any issues with a calm, proactive approach
Maintain an organized and clean front desk area
Ensure all guest information is kept secure and confidential
Perform various administrative duties as needed
Drive the motel’s airport shuttle service, ensuring timely and safe transportation for guests to and from the airport
Assist guests with luggage and ensure shuttle rides are comfortable and stress-free
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant teams as needed

Ideal Candidate:

Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a small, focused team
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus, but not required
Comfortable handling a shuttle vehicle and assisting guests with luggage
Flexible with the ability to work varied hours, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
Friendly, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile for guests
