Welcome to Abbotsleigh, a pre-kindergarten to Year 12 Anglican day and boarding school for girls located in Wahroonga, on Sydney’s North Shore.

Reports to: Head Swimming Coach

Position Description:

Abbotsleigh School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic casual Swimming Coach to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist at various levels of the program, ensuring the delivery of best-practice coaching to our swimmers.

You will engage and motivate swimmers, fostering their development and encouraging them to maximize their potential. Building strong relationships with swimmers through positive and effective communication is key to this role.

Compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation is essential, as is maintaining a high standard of service excellence.

Essential Qualifications:

Working With Children Check
Current Foundation Coach certificate (formerly known as Competitive Strokes)
Current Bronze Medallion certification
Current Swim Teacher certificate
Current recognised First Aid certificate
Current CPR certificate

Desirable Qualifications:

Development Coach certification.
Previous experience in Aquatics Education.
