Job Description

We are seeking Heavy Diesel Mechanics (Agriculture) to join the Hutton & Northey Sales group in our Merredin, Mukinbudin, Cunderdin, Corrigin, & Hyden branches. We are seeking mechanics who enjoy working in a team environment, and value having contact with the end user. The positions are a minimum 38-hour week, with requirement for seasonal overtime.

The Role

Attend to machine breakdowns in the workshop and in the field on customer’s properties
Work on cutting edge technology equipment including auto guidance and semiautonomous machines
Repairs and maintenance to wide variety of machinery including seeding tillage, harvest, mobile plant, and heavy road equipment
Product specialisation opportunities

Skills and Qualifications

Trade Qualified Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic
Basic computer skills
Valid driver’s licence
Exposure to agricultural machinery preferred, but not essential
