The Opportunity
You will be part of a high performing and highly regarded family law team working towards collective success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Confidently and efficiently managing a varied workload of interesting and complex family law matters;
- Providing advice on complex family law matters and delegating work to junior family law lawyers;
- Drafting court documents, agreements, advices and correspondence;
- Appearing at court, mediations and settlement conferences; and
- Maintaining a professional presentation at all times.
About You
To be successful in this position we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven lawyer with:
- A minimum of 5+ years post-admission experience in all aspects of family law matters including complex property, children and parenting matters and divorce;
- Work autonomously to a high standard and manage client requirements and expectations;
- Exceptional communication and writing skills, advocacy and attention to detail;
- Commercial acumen with a strong understanding of business;
- Ability to liaise and communicate competently with clients and all parties;
- A positive attitude, be a team player and a genuine interest in professional development; and
- The ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
