Position: Sous Chef

Job Type: Permanent – Full Time

Are you a chef who excels when given the autonomy to run your own service? Cove Kitchen is seeking a Sous Chef to take charge of our evening operations and act as the right hand to our Head Chef. This isn't just a support role; it’s an opportunity to own the kitchen during the second half of the day, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. Skills and Experiences:
What You'll Do

Manage all evening kitchen production independently while maintaining high-speed service.
Execute bulk cooking recipes with precision to meet the high demand of airport diners.
Ensure the kitchen meets all regulatory food safety and hygiene requirements at all times.
Assist with inventory management and cost control to maintain healthy kitchen margins.
Oversee the end-to-end kitchen process including food prep, service, and station cleaning.

About You

Fully qualified chefs holding both a Trade Certificate and a Food Safety Supervisor license.
Self-starters who are comfortable managing a kitchen and making decisions independently.
Fast-moving professionals who can handle high-volume orders without compromising on quality.
Financially savvy cooks who understand the importance of managing COGS and wastage.
Dedicated workers who are happy to assist with all duties including dishwashing and prep.
