About the Venue:
Located along the banks of Lake Caroline in Caroline Springs, Westwaters hospitality complex includes a large bistro, sports bar, lobby bar, over 600m² of event spaces, an extensive gaming room, and the Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs.

About the Role:
We are seeking a casual Guest Service Agent to join the team at the Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs. This is a hands-on operational role responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout the guest journey, from arrival through to departure. You will play a key role in supporting front office operations while providing professional and efficient customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner
Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
Process reservations, payments, and daily front office transactions
Maintain accurate guest records and administrative documentation
Coordinate effectively with housekeeping and other hotel departments
Ensure presentation and service standards are maintained at all times
Support daily front office operations and hotel procedures

About You:

Previous experience in hotel front office/guest services
Hands-on and proactive approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Professional presentation and customer-focused mindset
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Experience using hotel PMS systems is preferred
Flexible availability across a 7-day roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Australian working rights (sponsorship not available for this role)
