Dental Receptionist / Dental AssistantBoutique Family Dental Practice | Ivanhoe

Our boutique family dental clinic currently operating as a modern two-chair practice, with exciting plans for future growth.

In February 2025, the clinic was purchased from a long-standing retiring dentist and has since undergone a significant transformation — including renovations, rebranding, implementation of CareStack PMS, and a complete modernisation of systems and patient experience. We are now entering the next phase of growth and are looking for the right person to grow with us.

Our practice is built around caring, patient-focused dentistry. We are not a preferred provider clinic and pride ourselves on delivering a personalised, high-quality experience where patients feel genuinely listened to, respected, and comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.

About the Role

We are seeking a warm, organised, and proactive team member to primarily manage the front desk and overall patient journey, while also being capable of assisting clinically when required.

This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, takes pride in presentation and service, and wants to contribute to building something long term rather than simply filling a position.

Key Responsibilities

Managing front desk operations and patient flow
Delivering exceptional customer service and patient care
Building strong patient relationships and trust
Supporting patient retention and rebooking
Assisting with new patient conversion and enquiries
Coordinating appointments and communication
Maintaining a calm, professional, and welcoming environment
Providing clinical assistance when required
Supporting the team operationally wherever needed

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous dental reception and dental assisting experience
Communicates confidently and warmly
Has strong emotional intelligence and people skills
Is highly organised and takes initiative
Enjoys working in a team-oriented environment
Is proactive, solutions-focused, and accountable
Takes pride in cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail
Is open to feedback, coaching, and continual growth
Wants to be part of growing a business and culture long term

Experience with CareStack PMS is advantageous but not essential.
