About the Role
Prime Wrap Studio is looking for an experienced Senior Vehicle Wrap & PPF Installer to join our team in Vermont, Melbourne.
Our services include premium vehicle colour wrapping, Clear PPF, Matte PPF, Colour PPF, window tinting and other automotive styling and protection services.
This position is intended for an experienced installer who can complete full vehicles independently. It is not an apprentice position.
Key Responsibilities
* Full vehicle vinyl colour-change wrapping
* Full body Clear PPF installation
* Colour PPF installation
* Matte and Satin PPF installation
* Installation on complex panels including bumpers, guards, mirrors and curved surfaces
* Professional edge finishing, wrapping and detailing
* Vehicle preparation, cleaning and surface decontamination
* Removal of existing vinyl wrap and PPF
* Inspection of paint condition before installation
* Final quality-control inspection before vehicle delivery
* Working independently and as part of a team on premium and high-end vehicles
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of professional vehicle wrapping / PPF installation experience
* Strong experience with full vehicle vinyl colour-change wraps
* Strong experience with Clear PPF
* Strong experience with Colour PPF
* Ability to complete full vehicles independently
* Excellent understanding of Gloss, Satin and Matte films
* Strong skills in stretching, heat forming, edge finishing and complex curves
* High attention to detail and workmanship
* Ability to assess paint and surface condition before installation
* Reliable, responsible and able to maintain a clean professional work environment
Highly Desirable
Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded:
* Automotive Window Tinting
* Computer-cut / pre-cut PPF systems
* STEK, XPEL, 3M, Avery Dennison or similar premium brands
* Exotic, luxury and performance vehicles
* Chrome Delete
* Headlight and Taillight Tinting
* Ceramic Coating
* Vinyl and PPF removal
* Supervising or leading installation projects
