About the role

Gerard Malouf & Partners has a great opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary /Paralegal to join our busy team situated in our Melbourne office.

Typically, your duties will include but are not limited to:

Daily diary management
Providing a high level of secretarial and administrative assistance: drafting and producing correspondence.
Assisting with the drafting of Court and related litigation documents generally
Assisting in the preparation of documents for Local Court, District Court and Supreme Court.
Filing documents online via electronic platforms/portals
Liaising with clients, doctors, insurers, solicitors, barristers
Arranging appointments with clients, doctors, solicitors, barristers
File and document management oversee and assist with opening and closing files
General assistance with day-to-day administrative tasks, including some IT support

About you

To secure this role, you will have the following qualities:

Worked in a legal office in recent times
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Attention to detail
Organised
Work autonomously
High level of IT literacy
A sense of humour
