Electrical assembler/fitter

Ringwood location
Day shift - IMMEDIATE START
38+ hours Monday-Friday

About the company:

Leading electrical engineering manufacturer specializing in integrated electrical, electronic and control solutions based in the Eastern Suburbs. Servicing the mining and camping industries Australia wide for 40+ years.

We are looking for a suitably experienced electrical fitter to join the team predominantly building and testing electrical products associated with the mining and lighting industries, such as switchboards,PFC's,NER's, etc.

Key responsibilities:

Assembling and testing of electrical products
Measurement, inspection & reporting production parts on both new and used electrical products
Switchboard assembly
Fault finding, manufacture and repair
Some cable and lighting assembly as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

Experience in building electrical power products such as switchboards, PFC's, NER's, etc
Competent in the use of electrical test equipment both manual and automatic
Understand electrical schematic and wiring diagram
Experience working within a manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail
