Forklift High-Risk Trainer & Assessor — Trainix (Hoppers Crossing, VIC)

About Us
Trainix is one of Melbourne’s leading forklift and order picker licence training centres, located in Hoppers Crossing. We deliver nationally recognised training in TLILIC0003 Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck (LF) and TLILIC0004 Licence to Operate an Order Picking Forklift Truck (LO), helping individuals and businesses build confidence, skills, and safety in the workplace.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Forklift High-Risk Work (HRW) Trainer & Assessor to join our growing team. You will deliver engaging practical and theory-based forklift and order picker training, ensuring all learners meet competency standards and WorkSafe Victoria requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and assess forklift (LF) and order picker (LO) training programs (as applicable)
Conduct practical and written assessments following RTO and WorkSafe standards
Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation
Provide a supportive, safety-focused learning environment
Liaise with management to continuously improve training delivery

Essential Requirements

Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
Current High-Risk Work Licence – LF (and LO, if applicable)
Proven experience training and assessing in warehousing or logistics
Strong communication and organisational skills
Commitment to safety and compliance

Desirable

LO order picker licence and training delivery experience
White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Experience conducting onsite training in workplace settings
