Full Job Description

We are seeking a Hebrew & Jewish Studies Kindergarten Assistant who is responsible for the education and welfare of students in their care. The bi-lingual Kindergarten Assistant will work cooperatively as a member of the Early Learning Centre (ELC) in order to provide an educational program that is in line with curriculum and appropriate to the interests and developmental needs of children in the ELC. The role works closely with the Classroom Teachers to ensure a thorough approach is taken when implementing learning programs.

The successful candidate will commence during Term 3, 2026. This is an ongoing role with an opportunity for either full-time or part-time (0.8FTE - 28 hours per week) hours, working during school term time only.

Skills and Experience

Possess relevant childcare qualifications and hold a valid Employee Working with Children Check
Completed Diploma level ACECQA approved qualification.
Fluent in Hebrew (spoken and written)
Understanding of curriculum and students' needs
Experience in working with children and families
Excellent communication skills
Committed team player
