Full Job Description

Sacred Heart International College is a well-established and growing independent Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and CRICOS provider that has been operating for more than nine years.

We deliver a diverse range of nationally recognised qualifications across Trade courses, Business, Leadership and Management, Accounting, Information Technology, and Graduate Diploma of Management programs.

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Admissions and Accounts Officer to support both our Admissions and Accounts departments.

This position would suit a dynamic individual who is looking to build a long-term career within the vocational education sector. The successful candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments, including Admissions, Accounts, Student Support and Records.

Key Responsibilities

Admissions Responsibilities:

Issuing offer letters, enrolment documents and other student correspondence

Following up with students and education agents regarding outstanding documents

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records

Assisting with student enrolments, course variations and admission-related enquiries

Communicating professionally with students, agents and internal departments

Supporting the Admissions team with general administrative duties

Ensuring admissions processes are completed in accordance with college policies and regulatory requirements

Accounts Responsibilities:

Recording and allocating student payments

Maintaining accurate payment information within the student management system

Assisting with debtor management, including contacting students regarding overdue fees

Assisting the Accounts Manager with staff payroll processing

Assisting with the preparation and processing of agent commissions and bonuses

Performing regular account and payment reconciliations

Preparing basic receivables reports and financial summaries

Assisting with general accounts administration, filing and record keeping

Supporting the Accounts Manager with ad-hoc reporting and administrative duties

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess:

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organisational and time-management skills

The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

Accurate and efficient data-entry skills

Strong filing, documentation and record-keeping abilities

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A professional and positive attitude

Previous experience in an RTO, CRICOS college, admissions, accounts, administration role will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Training will be provided to the right candidate.
