The Opportunity
We're looking for an Accountant/Financial Analysts to join our team in Richmond, reporting to the Head of Investments. This is a unique hybrid role that sits at the intersection of finance and investments. You will be responsible for delivering core accounting and reporting functions while also contributing directly to financial modelling, transaction support and investment analysis across live deals.
You'll work closely with senior leadership across Finance, Execution and Investment teams, gaining genuine exposure to how transactions are structured, assessed and executed whilst maintaining the financial accuracy and controls that underpin the platform.
It's ideally suited to someone who enjoys both the rigour of financial reporting and the commercial challenge of investment analysis, and who wants to develop across both disciplines within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Support month-end/year-end processes, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Prepare and maintain fund, loan and investment reporting schedules
- Monitor cash movements, interest income, repayments and portfolio transaction activity
- Assist with management accounts, investor reporting and related analysis
- Maintain accurate financial and transactional records across internal systems
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, controls and efficiency
Financial Analysis & Investment Support
- Build and maintain financial models, investment analysis and scenario assessments
- Assist with new investment opportunity assessments, including transaction and portfolio analysis
- Prepare investment committee papers, credit submissions and transaction support materials
- Support transaction execution, settlements and ongoing monitoring of live investments
- Deliver commercial insights and reporting to support business decision-making
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and live transactions
Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrated experience in accounting, finance or investment analysis
- Ability to balance detailed financial control work with commercial and analytical responsibilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare clear, accurate reporting materials
- Proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
- Strong work ethic, integrity and a willingness to take ownership of deliverables
- Commercially minded with an interest in real estate credit and investment markets
- A growth mindset and an eagerness to continue developing technical and analytical capability
