We are seeking an enthusiastic Breaks Cover Educator to join our team at Keilor Downs Kindergarten.

At Keilor Downs Kindergarten, we provide a welcoming, inclusive early childhood environment where every child and family is valued for their unique strengths and experiences.
Our play-based learning programs nurture curiosity, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging, helping children develop essential skills for lifelong learning.
What sets us apart is the warm, supportive relationships we build with families and the local community. Together, we create meaningful learning experiences that celebrate diversity and empower every child to thrive.

This is a part time, ongoing position working 10 hours per week Monday to Friday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

About you

You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference.
You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child.
You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member.
You have a drive to grow and improve continually.
You value kindness and respect.
You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations.
You hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a WWCC, mandatory reporting certificate, police check and a first aid certificate.

You'll create a supportive environment where children are safeguarded to learn and grow.
You'll develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework.
You'll build strong relationships with children, families, the community and colleagues.
You'll actively participate in a culture of reflection and continuous improvement.
