Leftbank Melbourne Restaurant bar is looking for truly passionate, dedicated, skilled and talented Chefs of all levels who want to be part of taking Leftbank Melbourne restaurant to new heights, maintain quality, gain further experience and most importantly create something special, exciting, and innovative food.

The name of the game will be innovation, outside-the-box thinking and quality, with the restaurant looking to offer a truly inspiring seasonal menu, showcasing the best produce and products.

Seeking professionals who have a genuine passion quality, training and mentoring less experienced staff, and most importantly, playing a hands-on role in a team environment.

Job Type – Full Time

Salary - $65,000 - $80,000 + super (based on level on role)
Qualifications and experience required
Skills & experience
Experience as a Sous Chef, CDP, Commis, Qualified Cook
Certificate III Commercial Cookery or apprentice trained
Excellent communication skills
'Can do' attitude
Someone who strives for excellence regardless the level of cuisine
Advanced understanding of food safety and kitchen best practise models

Working with an exceptional Head Chef & Executive Chef
Collaborating with the Head Chef on the evolving menu
Assisting Setting up kitchen and kitchen operations
