Your impact
At Jacobs, our water business provides the full spectrum of consulting services from advisory and adaptative pathway planning through to engineering design and asset management - our scientists, engineers, planners and community engagement teams work collaboratively with clients, communities, traditional owners and tangata whenua to find the right solutions to their water challenges. Whether it’s treating, distributing or storing water, Jacobs reaches across boundaries and collaborates to successfully deliver customised innovative solutions.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern Civil Engineer (Water) to join our Melbourne Water Infras tructure team this summer. In this role you'll work provide assistance on key water infrastructure projects and further developing your understanding of civil engineering principles. You'll gain hands-on exposure to meaningful projects ranging from renewals packages for water infrastructure, to wastewater treatment plant upgrades, and up to large sewer tunnels and pump stations. You'll work alongside our Senior Consultants providing meaningful input on across our Water Infrastructure team – and we’ll mentor you each step of the way to ensure you’re set up for success.

Ideally, you’re in your penultimate year at university studying Civil Engineering. This is a unique role that requires applicants to hold the right to work in Australia.
