We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager Finance to provide strategic financial leadership in a dynamic, high-performance organisation.
This executive-level role is ideal for a commercially astute finance leader who excels in driving operational discipline, influencing strategy, and leading transformation in complex, regulated, or project-driven sectors.

Working from our Melbourne Office in the World Trade Centre on Wurundjeri land, your role purpose will be –
Partner with the CFO and executive leadership to shape strategy, drive growth, and manage risk.
Lead planning, forecasting, and reporting, providing insight to enhance performance and support decision-making.
Modernise the finance function through automation, process improvement, and shared services optimisation.
Work cross-functionally to align financial priorities with operational and commercial objectives.
Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Ensure strong governance, controls, and compliance across all finance activities.
On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours:
CA, CPA, or equivalently qualified, with executive experience in roles such as GM Finance, Head of Finance, Finance Director, or Divisional CFO.
Experience in complex, mission-critical sectors such as defence, software, systems, and integrations will be highly valued.
Strong commercial acumen, including expertise in contract profitability, program finance, and risk management
A demonstrated ability to lead finance transformation, including process improvement, automation, and digital enablement
A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to influence across executive, operational, and corporate stakeholders
A track record of building capable teams and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance
