Casual Bus & Coach Drivers – Join the Skylight Bus Lines Team

From $40 Weekday Rates | $60 Weekend Rates

Depot Locations: Campbellfield VIC 3061

Are you an experienced Bus or Coach Driver looking for flexible work with a supportive and professional team?

Skylight Bus Lines is expanding our On Call Driver Panel and we’re looking for reliable, safety focused drivers who enjoy being out on the road and delivering exceptional passenger experiences.

Whether you’re seeking extra work, a flexible lifestyle, or you’re semi-retired and still passionate about driving, this is a fantastic opportunity to stay active, connected, and valued in the transport industry.

Morning & Afternoon School Services

Emergency & Planned Rail Replacement Services (experience preferred)
Airport Transfers & Tours

No two days are the same — enjoy a variety of driving assignments while working with a trusted and respected transport operator.

What You’ll Be Doing

Safely operate buses and coaches across a range of services
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Deliver outstanding customer service to passengers
Keep vehicles clean, tidy, and well-presented
Ensure services run on time and efficiently
Complete trip reports and required documentation
Participate in ongoing training and safety programs

What We’re Looking For

Current VIC Medium Rigid (MR) Licence
Current VIC Driver Accreditation
Current Working With Children Check
Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
Previous bus or coach driving experience
Strong understanding of road safety and compliance
Professional presentation and communication skills
Reliable, calm, and customer-focused attitude
