Full Job Description

Motor Mechanic

31 Tyre & Auto is looking for Motor Mechanics/Technicians to work with us. We are looking to employ suitable and qualified candidates to fulfill the vacant 6 positions at following stores:

Motor Mechanic 4 Positions

Accessories Fitter 1 Position

Tyre Fitter 1 Position

31 Tyre & Auto

Task and Duties includes:

Review Work Orders (what needs to be fixed on the vehicle) and discuss work with supervisor;
Check motors that are running, road test motor vehicles, and test automotive systems and components using testing devices to find the problem in the vehicle;
Tyre repair and maintenance such as changing tyres, repairing punctured tyres, wheel balance, wheel alignment, etc.;
Change, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including fuel, brake, steering and suspension;
Systems, transmissions, differentials, drive axles and shafts, emission control and exhaust systems, engines and electrical;
Cooling and climate control systems by using hand tools and other specialised automotive repair equipment;
Test and change repaired systems to the required standards;
Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups;
Advice customers on work performed, general vehicle conditions and future repair requirements; and,
Follow safety procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

Certificate III in Automotive AND minimum 1 years of work experience

Certificate III and Certificate IV in Automotive with minimal experience

*Selected candidates will be provided on the job training

Salary range AUD 80, 000 to AUD 90, 000 + Super.

Full time position.

*Australian citizens and Permanent residents preferable.

*Only selected candidates will be contacted.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
