About the role:
Western Health Gastroenterology Unit is seeking a Gastroenterologist with experience in Liver disease and management to support the existing Liver Clinic. The successful applicant will have outstanding interpersonal and clinical gastroenterology skills and join one of the highest volume gastroenterology services within Victoria, providing care for the western metropolitan region of Melbourne.
Key responsibilities:

Attend established Liver Clinic Thursday afternoon at Footscray Hospital.

Have flexibility to support patient care as required across Sunshine and Footscray Hospitals and contribute to the clinical supervision and training of Junior Medical Officers.
About you:

Be eligible for credentialing as a Gastroenterologist at Western Health.

Desirable but not essential to have Fibroscan experience.

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
