Full Job Description

Description:

We are looking for someone with the maturity of several years of test leadership, test management and industry test delivery experience from end to end in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies with hands on experience in developing and overseeing the delivery of test artefacts. You will be adept in managing both your own deliverables as well as providing oversight within team. Your eye for detail, exceptional quality mindset, processes, governance, management and interpersonal skills will be instrumental to this role.

Your superior communication and negotiation skills along with your collaborative and consultative approach will see you confidently influence and guide your team as well as manage stakeholders and vendors across various parts of the organisation.

You are highly organised, approachable, analytical and task driven, able to prioritise and adapt to competing deadlines and projects.

Critical requirements:

Must be a permanent Australian resident
Must have a driver’s licences
Must be willing to work both from home and client site.

Primary responsibilities:

Providing support to Project Management, Business & IT stakeholders and Testers within your project or program
Demonstrate the required leadership to drive testing outcomes
Deliver test estimation, test strategy, test planning, test execution and test reporting across various test phases/sprints
Maintain a resourcing plan to service the projects within the program
Acting as a central point for testing deliverables and outcomes
Supporting and influencing various stakeholder requests
Undertaking and establishing required workshops and quality review meeting
Implementing or maintaining the required level of test governance and processes
Provide consultation expertise around test approaches, processes, and tools to others
Oversight and review of vendor test deliverables
Ensure that project test deliverables are being created and/or maintained to a high standard
Facilitate defect escalations and resolutions by external vendors and technology teams

Experience and Skills…

Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related discipline; or relevant industry experience
Relevant industry experience delivering in both Waterfall and Agile environments
Minimum 3-4 years in testing discipline and leadership
Relevant experience in managing both offshore and onshore teams
Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a delivery test lead, supporting integrated applications in complex environments with multiple technologies, across numerous phases/sprints
Minimum 1-2 years of experience working within an Agile Test Delivery framework
Minimum 3 years as a technical and business tester (SIT and UAT)
Strong written and verbal communication
Comfortable with producing relevant test deliverables and test reporting
Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment and work to deadlines
Must have test led the delivery of several medium to large testing projects
Relevant experience in establishing/reviewing test requirements, test scenarios, testcases and maintaining testing coverage
Relevant experience in creating and maintaining defects
Relevant Program/Project testing experience using industry-standard testing tools
