Transdev Queensland is looking for motivated individuals to join our Capalaba-based team as a Bus Driver. Capalaba is a suburb located in the Redland City area, about 20-25 km east-southeast of Brisbane CBD with a typical travel time of around 35 minutes by car.
Our expert in-house trainers will support you through a fully paid training program. No prior bus driving experience is required. Once qualified, you’ll play an important role in delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable bus services, including urban routes, school services, and rail replacement operations. Our next training program for new Bus Drivers starts on Monday, 14 September 2026.

What you bring
- Full Australian working rights (Australian citizen or permanent resident)
- A Medium Rigid licence or higher
- Ability to obtain a Queensland Government Driver Authorisation
- A good driving history including no more than four demerit points in the past three years and no licence suspension or good behaviour period in the past three years (excluding State Penalty Enforcement Registry suspensions)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A strong focus on safety
- Adaptability to achieve schedule requirements and variations
- Availability from Monday to Saturday with preparedness to work a roster which includes straight shifts, split shifts, and relief shifts.
