Full Job Description

The role requires a creative Early Childhood Teacher to work as an active team member in providing high quality education and care at Tinana. This is a great opportunity for early childhood professionals who are passionate about the early years and would like to be involved with a supportive professional team.

Seeking a passionate and reliable Early Childhood Teacher who values consistency and enjoys being part of a close-knit community. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to build strong connections with children, families and the local community.

This is a 5 day per week opportunity where you will be working in the kindergarten room for 4 year olds.

We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher who has:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the community
Lead and mentor a team of educators to achieve excellence in practice
Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment
Regularly assess and document children’s development to inform learning strategies

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Current First Aid & CPR certificates
Current Working with Children Check/ Working with Vulnerable People or Blue Card
A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous learning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in leading or mentoring teams is highly desirable
