We are committed to delivering sensitive and respectful client centred care, offering a wide range of services such as complex care, high needs, personal care, respite, domestic assistance and home maintenance in the comfort and privacy of the clients' homes.

About the role

We are seeking reliable and compassionate Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centered support to our Participants in the Maryborough area. We are seeking support workers who will build strong rapport and bring consistency. You’ll provide disability, in home support and social support; helping them live with dignity, independence, and joy.

Please note: These preferences are based on the participant’s individual needs, in line with the comfort, support requirements and the participant’s right to Choice and Control under the NDIS.

Main responsibilities and activities may include:

· Provide a high quality and timely care support to the clients as directed by Home Caring, and in accordance with their care plans.

· Support clients in getting out for social engagement, activities and in attending appointments.

· Provide personal care and daily living (domestic) assistance.

· Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation.)

· Document service activities that support service outcomes.

· Support participant in achieving individual NDIS goals.

· Maintain accurate documentation (including reporting) and shift notes.

· Available for 8-10 hours/week.

Requirements:

· Professional experience in the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors.

· Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances

· NDIS Worker Screening Check

· Current First Aid certificate and current CPR certificate

· Current Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle

· The right to work in Australia

· WWC

Pay: $34.00 – $44.00 per hour

Experience:

Disability/ Age care: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Blue Card, NDIS Card, Drivers Licence, First Aid, CPR, (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
