About the opportunity
As our Retail Postage Sorter, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day – and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.
Role Details

Looking for flexible work with great pay and variety? Join our relief team as a Casual Retail Postage Sorter, supporting multiple locations across the Sunshine Coast and Noosa region

$34.45 / hour (starting rate) for approx. 3 months, increasing to $36.83 hour + 12% Superannuation. (Junior rates apply to those under 21 during training).

Paid, supportive training on commencement, Monday - Friday, 3 - 4 hours / day on a rotating roster

After training, shifts may be scheduled in advanced, or you may be called in at short notice, there is no guarantee of hours

You will need to be fully available, Monday - Friday, between 6 am – 5 pm

Shifts are rostered at Nambour, Noosa Civic, Noosa Heads, Sunshine Coast Bus Hub, Sunshine Plaza and Tewantin, please consider the travel when applying

You’ll be
-
Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace.

Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes.

Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.
About you

You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously.

Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting.

Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
