Location: Maroochydore
Full time position

We are seeking a reliable and organised Legal Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will possess the ability to organise, multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure with minimal direction. Experience is essential.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Managing senior lawyer’s schedule and emails
Diarising critical dates
Liaising with clients, lawyers and other professionals
Entering client and file data into our Document Management System
Transcribing correspondence and memos
File management (electronic)
Filing court material via the online portal
Overflow reception duties
General administrative tasks

Additional Criteria

The successful candidate will possess the following:

Strong Microsoft Office skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Organised, effective and quick work completion
Ability to monitor time and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Ability to monitor time and meet deadlines through thoughtful planning organisation
