Clarke McEwan Accountants is a reputable Chartered Accounting firm located in the vibrant area of Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. Our waterfront offices on the Cotton Tree Esplanade are ideally positioned near parks, cafes, Sunshine Plaza, and the new Maroochydore town centre. We specialize in providing tailored services to successful businesses and professional clients.

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time Client Services Officer / Administration Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

This position is located at Maroochydore on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We are seeking a client-focused superstar who can support reception and our team with general administration and housekeeping duties as required. We are looking for an upbeat and vibrant professional who has the following qualities:

Your duties as our Client Services Officer / Administration Assistant will include but are not limited to:

· Welcoming clients and professionally answering and screening incoming calls

· Electronic collation and uploading of year-end client documentation for signing

· Assisting with the creation and management of work in progress

· Filing and maintaining confidential client documentation

· Processing lodgements with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)

· Managing communications with government departments such as the ATO and ASIC

· Preparing and distributing our monthly client newsletter

· Assisting with digital marketing initiatives

· Managing debtors and following up on outstanding payments via email and text

· Assisting our principal with diary and email management

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

· Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an office administration role, preferably within an accounting firm

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and a strong comfort level with technology

· Experience working with Xero, XPM, FYI Docs, FuseSign is an advantage.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· An ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a busy environment

· A high level of professionalism, with a strong focus on confidentiality and ethical standards
