Key competencies (role specific criteria)

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in medical typing and computer programs relevant to duties.
Demonstrated ability to work to professional standards without direct supervision and to organise and prioritise the administrative workload of a Group Co-ordinating Laboratory.
Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication skills and a high level of interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
A demonstrated commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement.
Knowledge of, or ability to acquire knowledge of, procedures policies and regulations which impact on the position, in particular the Queensland Health Code of Conduct, and a knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues such as work place health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination.
