We’re now looking for a Pastry Chef to join our small, close-knit team and help us create memorable, world-class dining experiences.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re someone who loves cooking — really loves it. You care about flavour, craft, detail, and the people you cook for. You enjoy working with beautiful seasonal produce, forming relationships with local suppliers, and pushing yourself creatively.

Key responsibilities
- Create unique baked goods in accordance with menu specifications
- Develop creative, customised desserts and baked goods
- Work hands-on with a tight team of passionate hospitality professionals
- Contribute to the overall menu direction of the restaurant
- Manage stock levels, ordering and supplier relationships for the pastry section
- Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
- Ensure the kitchen is clean at all times and meets all local health code and food safety requirements
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in pastry techniques as required
Skills and experience
- Relevant trade qualification in patisserie or commercial cookery (AQF Certificate III or higher), or equivalent overseas qualification
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable pastry role in a restaurant or commercial kitchen
- Sound knowledge of Australian food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and manage a section
- Current right to work in Australia
Terms
- Full-time position, 38 ordinary hours per week
- Salary: $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation at the statutory rate
- Location: Margaret River region, Western Australia
