Full Job Description

Teacher – Full Time or Part Time (3 days per week)

Mansfield Autism Statewide Services (MASS) is an independent not-for-profit organisation delivering innovative education and support programs for autistic children and young people. We support individuals from infancy through to adulthood through personalised, strengths-based programs designed to build independence, inclusion and meaningful outcomes.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to join our school team in a full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week for part time), ongoing position.

Teachers at Mansfield Autism are responsible for:

Delivering engaging, individualised learning programs in a specialist autism setting
Supporting the education, wellbeing and development of students aged 5 to 18 years
Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team, including families, support staff and allied health professionals
Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Recognised tertiary teaching qualifications
Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
Experience working with students with Autism (or strong interest in this area)
The ability to develop and deliver individualised learning programs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to creating safe, supportive and inclusive learning environments

Special Education qualifications or experience are highly regarded.
