Kanda is seeking dedicated team members to provide meaningful support to people with disabilities. In this role, you will:

Provide direct care and support to individuals with varying disabilities.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Support individuals in attending medical appointments, accessing community resources, social inclusion, and wellbeing activities.
Monitor and document client progress and care provided.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and other team members to ensure holistic care.

Requirements:

NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement
Working with Children check or be willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement
Valid unrestricted drivers licence and reliable vehicle
Experience with individuals with Huntington's Disease
Experience assisting clients within all personal care, manual handling and hoisting
Holding Dysphagia and Manual Handling certificates
Available to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings and sleepovers)
