Permanent Part-time positions available Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun (Morning, Afternoon and Nights)
Pay rate – $36.05 per hour + superannuation

We are looking for Personal Care Assistants to join our team at Maranatha, Batehaven. We offer a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon, and night shifts across the week. As part of a dedicated team who work hard to create a safe, home-like environment you’ll be responsible for:

Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing
Supporting day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities
Working with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed
Maintaining documentation and working as part of a team to ensure our residents’ health and wellbeing are optimised
Providing high quality service to families and the community

To be successful in this role you’ll need

A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
Good communication skills
A reliable team player
Understanding of workplace health and safety
A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent)
Preference will be given to PCAs who have completed medication competency training as part of their Certificate III or Certificate IV studies.
Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
