We have an excellent opportunity for an Administration Officer to join our thriving business. We are seeking a self-motivated and reliable individual to join our Functions team in our Head Office! Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer; you’ll be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality administration support for the day-to-day functioning of the laboratories within the National team.
A typical day might look like this;
- Answering incoming calls and direct accordingly;
- Managing and distributing incoming and outgoing post and couriers;
- Photocopying, scanning and filing company documents;
- Ad-hoc functional support duties such as running errands;
- General housekeeping of the Office and Laboratory to ensure it is clean and presentable at all times;
- Assisting with employee timesheets;
- Site mobilisation and travel bookings;
- Ordering and purchasing of supplies and services;
- Organising and assisting with fleet maintenance activities;
- Booking of local inductions and courses/licenses;
- Utilising laboratory software to undertake a number of administrative laboratory tasks;
- Deal with employees, clients and suppliers professionally at all times; and
- Follow, as well as assisting in ensuring compliance by other employees, of all Coffey Testing policies and procedures.
About you
To be successful in this role you’ll need to have;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Sound verbal and written communication skills;
- Able to listen and follow instructions;
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and Word) and the ability to pick up new systems easily;
- Efficient, productive, accurate and timely completion of work tasks;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; and
- Hold a valid Drivers Licence and have access to a vehicle for out of office errands, drop offs and collections.
Relevant experience in an administration role would be advantageous.
