We’re looking for a caring, reliable, fun and experienced Cleaner / Support Worker to support NDIS participants in their homes.
This role will begin as a Casual Position and hours vary week to week, depending on client's needs. There will be opportunity to progress to permanent in the future for the right candidate.
We service clients in Maitland, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Karuah, Medowie, Dungog and surrounds, so willingness to travel to any of these locations is essential.
✅ Duties include (but not limited to):
- Providing domestic assistance
- Assisting with daily living activities, community participation and personal care, if required
- Supporting clients to achieve their individual goals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and following service policies
- Some travel within the region as required
✅ Essential criteria:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current National Police Check
- Experience working with children
- Experience in a similar role, essential
- Experience in the industry
- Own reliable transport and valid drivers licence
- Genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities
- Flexibility to work across varying shifts, including weekends and afternoons
- Professional, non-judgemental and open-minded attitude
- Reliable and keen to work
- Ability to work independently and respectfully in clients homes
