About the Role
QT Gold Coast is looking for passionate Pastry Chefs, Chef de Partie and Commis, who take dessert as seriously as we take our décor — which is to say, very.

You'll be part of our kitchen brigade, crafting pastries, desserts and baked goods that match the energy of the QT world: bold, a little unexpected, always polished. Think precision meets personality — from perfectly laminated croissants to showstopper plated desserts that guests photograph before they even pick up a fork.

What You’ll Bring

1-2 years’ worth of experience in hotels, restaurants, or bistros.
Solid pastry experience with knowledge of modern and classic pastry techniques including tempering and gelato making.
Ability to train and mentor junior staff, and manage a section when required.
Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
Attention to detail, well-presented and high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure, while still delivering a high standard

Key Accountabilities

Maintain product consistent of all food serviced from the kitchen, following standard recipes and proper portion control across all outlets.
Prepare and present all required menu items with a strong recipe knowledge.
Maintain excellent food storage, cleanliness, and workplace health and safety standards in all kitchen areas.
Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs while upholding professional personal grooming and positive team relationships.
