Position Title: Hotel Service Manager

Salary Range: $80,000 to $115,000 + superannuation

About Us:
Xanadu Main Beach is a beachside high rise apartment resort located on Main Beach, at the northern end of the Gold Coast. We are looking for an experienced and confident Hotel Service Manager to supervise and coordinate our guest services staff. This is a hands-on position for someone with experience in accommodation and front office operations. For the right candidate, a salary package between $80,000 to $115,000 + superannuation is payable.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a strong operational understanding of guest‑service functions, ensuring effective coordination between front office, housekeeping, maintenance and other service departments.
Coordinate, oversee, and provide support to key operational departments, including housekeeping, maintenance and front office, assisting supervisors and managers with service delivery issues and operational concerns affecting guest experience.
Determine daily work requirements and allocate duties to front office and housekeeping teams to support smooth check‑in/check‑out processes, room readiness and consistent guest service standards.
Prepare daily housekeeping reports allocating tasks, outlining room requirements, special attentions, repeat‑guest considerations and any issues requiring follow‑up.
Provide ongoing support and training to front office staff, ensuring they understand procedures, service standards and departmental responsibilities.
Conduct routine inspections of guest areas and facilities, monitoring cleanliness, safety and readiness for daily operations.
Coordinate induction and on‑the‑job training for front office and service staff, reinforcing procedures, communication protocols and expected service behaviours.
Train employees in safety regulations and emergency procedures, ensuring staff understand appropriate responses to incidents such as flooding or fire alarms.
Respond to after‑hours guest enquiries, incidents and urgent situations, ensuring appropriate escalation, service continuity and adherence to procedures.

Key Requirements:

Diploma in Hospitality Management (or higher)
At least 12 months of work experience in a similar role
