About the role
As our Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and reinstating vehicle electrical systems following accident damage.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical faults
- Removing and refitting electrical components during the repair process
- Reinstating wiring, sensors, lighting, safety systems and electronic components
- Carrying out pre- and post-repair electrical checks
- Using diagnostic scan tools to identify faults
- Working closely with panel beaters, spray painters and estimators to ensure vehicles are repaired correctly
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
About you
- Relevant Automotive Electrical qualification and experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in smash repair/body repair is required
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience with modern vehicle electrical and electronic systems
- A good eye for detail and pride in quality workmanship
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A reliable, positive and professional attitude
- A current Australian driver's licence
