Intermediate Accountant

You’ll work closely with senior team members to deliver high quality outcomes for a variety of business clients.

Prepare income tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
Apply technical taxation knowledge to advise small and medium business clients and support senior client managers with research
Reconcile accounts across multiple accounting platforms (Xero, Intuit QuickBooks, MYOB, Reckon)
Liaise confidently with clients, the ATO, and ASIC
Contribute to training and supporting graduate team members and colleagues
Manage your own workflow while working collaboratively within the team

What We’re Looking For:

Completed (or near completion of) a relevant Accounting degree
Preferably 3–5+ years’ experience in public practice accounting
Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Proactive, positive attitude and a professional approach
Ability to meet deadlines independently while enjoying teamwork
Friendly, approachable, and great with client communication
