As a Terminal Operator your core activites will include rail and road receival, shipping, road outloading, site hygiene, bunker storage operations and grain assessing. As a member of a multi skilled work environment you will be expected to take on other activities within the site in accordance with training and experience. We provide you with the tools and training required to perform your job effectively and safely. We’re also proud to provide genuine opportunities for our people to take on more responsibility, allowing them to progress further, if desired.
About your experience
We’re seeking individuals with the ability / willingness to do this type of work. Candidates will also display:
- Good communication, teamwork and customer service skills
- Capacity to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Willingness to undertake manual hygiene tasks around site using compressed air, hosing down, etc
- Willingness to undertake training to obtain fumigation licence and Dept of Agriculture Approved Officer status
- Bonus: Loader, forklift or skid-steer experience (desirable but not essential)
