Role Overview:
KOR is on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join KOR. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background in Heavy Vehicle equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This role is critical in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment, contributing to the success of our operations and customer satisfaction. This position will cover Townsville and Mackay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Willingness to travel and perform routine maintenance, inspections, repairs and machinery overhauls on a variety of equipment.
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the service team to improve service processes and efficiency.
- Expand and maintain customer relationships.
- On-call, field service and interstate work maybe required from time to time.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Successful candidates will have:
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician, Mechanic, Maintenance Fitter or roles similar in the equipment industry.
- A Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Electrical (either or dual will be highly regarded);
- Prior experience in breakdown and diagnostic repairs;
- Prior experience in High Pressure water and vacuum pumps (advantageous).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid HR license and Forklift license (highly desirable, not essential)
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
