Flexible permanent full-time role based in our Mackay office

Kanda is seeking a dedicated Service Manager to join our team in Mackay. In this role, you’ll lead a team of frontline support workers and oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support to our participants, ensuring their needs are met while upholding legislative and organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of support workers to deliver consistent, high-quality care
Develop, implement, and regularly review care plans to meet the needs of vulnerable people
Work collaboratively with participants, families, support workers, and external stakeholders
Ensure mandatory reporting and administrative tasks are completed with accuracy and in a timely manner
Actively participate in supervision, team meetings, and stakeholder discussions to support communication and continuous improvement
Manage budgets, funding utilisation, and rostering of support services
Provide direct care support to participants as needed to maintain continuity of care

About You

Demonstrated experience in disability services or similar sector at a manager or supervisor level
Qualification (Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree) in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or a related discipline
Strong understanding of NDIS legislation, reporting requirements, and restrictive practices
Excellent leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
Valid drivers licence, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
