BlueCare's Student Placement Program is a strategy to attract skilled workers in areas where we have workforce needs.

We appreciate you taking the time to complete your details prior to the pre-screening process for a student placement at a BlueCare Service near you.

Personal Carer | Blue Care | Student Practical Placement

Status: Permanent Part Time or Casual Positions available
Location: Will be discussed at your pre-screening, based on your residence
Remuneration: $34.50 - $36.32p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Penalties & Allowances + Employee discounts

About the role:

As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility
Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Role requirements:

Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification
Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
