full time ,
permanent Senior Solicitor or Associate in our
Logan based Personal Injury team, that commitment begins with you. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference for those who have been wronged while building meaningful relationships with clients during some of the most challenging periods of their lives.
We are looking for applicants who are eager to further their career within the personal injury field. This is a great opportunity to build your technical expertise while working alongside and learning from an experienced Practice Manager, with the support of experienced legal support who will help you succeed in the role.
With compassion, connection and purpose, you’ll be a true champion of our clients by:
- Providing clients with legal advice and representation to obtain compensation
- Work across a variety of client matters that require a high level of sensitivity
- Provide legal advice to each client's particular matter to suit their level of understanding
- Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with clients, including effective and regular communication and managing the client's expectations
- Draft legal documentation with a high degree of attention to detail
- Manage and run a file load with a high level of commercial and fiscal awareness
What you’ll bring
To thrive in this role, you’ll:
- A Bachelor of Laws with a current practising certificate.
- Pre or post-admission experience in personal injury law (e.g. workers’ compensation and/or transport accident matters, or similar).
- Have a passion for social justice and a thirst for knowledge in the plaintiff law space.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be dedicated to delivering exceptional client service, with an emphasis on helping people when they need it most.
- Be able to effectively manage multiple competing deadlines, within a fast-paced environment.
