Responsibilities
- Install water treatment systems and equipment in accordance with project plans and manufacturer specifications.
- Set up and configure system components, including pumps, filtration units, chemical dosing systems, and monitoring devices.
- Operate water treatment systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Monitor water quality parameters using testing equipment and ensure treated water meets required standards.
- Record data and prepare reports on system performance and water quality.
- Perform regular maintenance on water treatment equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with water treatment systems promptly.
- Replace and repair system components as needed.
- Ensure all water treatment activities comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Assist in obtaining necessary permits and maintaining documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to environmental standards.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in safety training sessions and emergency response drills.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Work closely with construction teams, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and site supervisors about water treatment operations and issues.
- Provide training and support to construction staff on water treatment procedures and best practices.
Skills and Experience Required
1. Relevant qualification or 3 years work experience in lieu
2. Previous experience in water treatment, environmental compliance, or a related field is highly desirable, with strong knowledge of treatment processes and equipment such as filtration, chemical dosing, and monitoring systems.
3. Physically capable of handling heavy equipment and working in diverse weather conditions, demonstrating endurance and safety awareness.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data recording, reporting, and operational tasks.
5. Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and collaboratively, showing reliability and initiative.
Pay: $76,515.00 – $80,000.00 per year
