Experienced Boat Detailer & Anti fouler wanted!
JD’s Boatshed is looking for a skilled and motivated Boat Detailer and Anti fouler to join our growing marine team.
Working with premium brands such as Cobalt, Barletta, Malibu & Axis, you'll be responsible for keeping boats looking their best and assisting with a range of preparation and maintenance work.

JD's Boatshed has been a family-owned and operated boat dealership and service centre since 2004. Based in Kirrawee, we proudly provide boat sales, servicing and maintenance to customers across Sydney and the Sutherland Shire.
We are the authorised NSW dealer for Cobalt Boats and Barletta Pontoon Boats, a fully certified Mercury & MerCruiser Service Centre, and an Authorised Service Agent for Malibu and Axis Boats. Our experienced team services sterndrives, outboards and a wide range of marine engines, delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Boat detailing, cleaning and presentation
- Machine polishing, buffing and paint correction
- Interior and exterior detailing
- Antifouling preparation and application
- Hull preparation and maintenance
- Boat preparation for customer handovers and sales
- General workshop and yard duties
- Assisting the marine mechanics when required
About You
- Experience in marine detailing, automotive detailing or a similar hands-on role
- Previous antifouling experience is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Good work ethic and ability to work independently
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Reliable, punctual and safety conscious
- A genuine interest in boats and the marine industry
- Experience working on Cobalt, Barletta, Malibu or Axis boats highly regarded
