Full Job Description

Expanding Business with a new opening Immediate start

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Furniture Installation & Driver Specialist to join our team. This role requires a dependable and versatile individual who can safely transport, install, and lift commercial office furniture, as well as securely tie down items for construction and project-related deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities of Driver / Furniture includes but is not limited to:

Safely load and transport office furniture and other items to project sites, ensuring proper protection and security during transit.
Check, load, convey, unload, deliver and install company/customer goods in a safe and careful manner that avoids damage to goods and injury to any person
Use our company vehicles in a safe, professional and appropriate manner, and Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any issues or maintenance needs, and ensure the vehicle is always clean and in good working condition.
Work closely with project managers, contractors, and team members to coordinate deliveries and installations according to project timelines.
Assist with additional tasks when needed, including moving materials or helping with prep.
Must be able to read and interpret plans for placing furniture according to plan designs
Check that all goods to be collected / delivered match the product details/descriptions/serial numbers on invoices, delivery dockets etc.

Requirements for Driver / Furniture Removal:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a driving, furniture delivery, or installation role (preferably in construction or project management environments).
Prior experience with lifting, moving, and securing furniture or heavy items is strongly preferred.
Physically fit, able to lift and move heavy items (up to 40kgs)
Comfort with physical labour, including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting for extended periods.
Safe use of power tools
Construction Induction Safety (white card holder) preferred but not required.
Display excellent customer service as you are the face of our business when interacting with clients
Be reliable, punctual, efficient & willing to learn
Work well within a team environment / or autonomously
Ability to follow instructions and take charge of situations
Current drivers license, MR or HR advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
