The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for a proactive and energetic Sanitor to join the team based at our industrial bakery in Liverpool, NSW. Reporting to the Sanitation Manager the Sanitor will perform a full range of sanitation functions throughout the bakery to ensure the site's high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Available shift:
- Tuesday - Friday: 5AM – 1PM Saturday: 6AM - 4PM with flexibility required to work around production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble / re-assemble and sanitise bakery equipment and components
- Complete routine wash downs & wet cleaning as per schedule
- Manage waste removal, mopping, scrubbing, and detail cleaning as directed
- Follow standard Sanitation SOPs and guidelines to complete tasks
- Maintain and accurately complete key documents and reports.
About You:
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role will be preferred.
- Availability and flexibility to work in a shift environment.
- Food Manufacturing/Industry experience will be highly regarded.
- Ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under specific timescales.
- Great work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and to use initiative
- Physical capacity for heavy lifting of up to 25kg in a safely manner.
