Your role

As a Talent Acquisition Officer in our Pre-Employment Screening Team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough background checks and verifying candidate credentials to support informed hiring decisions.

What you’ll do

The role involves conducting comprehensive pre-employment screening processes, background verification, and document validation, to ensure thorough vetting of candidates for Correctives Services NSW.
Collaboration with hiring managers and other stakeholders is essential to maintain compliance with organisational policies and legal regulations.
Timely and accurate processing of candidate information is a priority, along with maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive data.
Additionally, the role includes providing clear guidance to candidates and resolving any screening-related inquiries efficiently.

What we’re looking for

Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Familiarity with pre-employment screening processes or related experience in HR/recruitment (preferred).
