About the Role
As a Mental Health Clinician with headspace Lithgow, you will:
- Undertake comprehensive psychosocial assessments, including exploration of presenting issues, client history, risk, protective factors, and contributing influences
- Work collaboratively with young people to develop person-centred, feedback-informed case formulations and treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to young people experiencing mental ill-health
- Actively engage in Evidence‑Informed Practice and Family Inclusive Practice
- Apply Alcohol and Other Drug screening, harm reduction, psychoeducation, and brief interventions where required

Essential Qualifications
To be eligible, you must meet the following:
- Psychologist with full and current AHPRA registration
- Social Worker with an approved Bachelor/Master of Social Work and
- Mental health specific training or at least 2 years’ mental health experience
- Eligibility for or membership with AASW
- Occupational Therapist with full AHPRA registration and
- Additional mental health training or mental health endorsement
- Division 1 Mental Health Nurse with relevant experience and/or postgraduate qualifications in mental health
